- Has Hollywood had enough of Ellen DeGeneres?
- There are rumors that her show may finally get canceled.
- You know it’s bad when a superficial industry thinks you’re too superficial for them.
Ellen DeGeneres isn’t dancing much these days. After months of countless testimonials about her bad behavior, the rumor is that Hollywood has sent a clear message: Change your ways, or go somewhere else.
Considering that Hollywood is an industry founded almost exclusively on manufactured images, this would be a pretty bold proclamation on their part.
Ellen DeGeneres Is Too Fake for the Fakes
“Tea” was spilled on Ellen DeGeneres. Put simply, her image as a geeky, awkwardly dancing “everywoman” is just that: an image.
But after years of hiding behind that image, the cracks began to form. And as allegations about her shameless behavior — directed at everyone from her staff to her guests — continue to emerge, the facade may be on the verge of shattering altogether.
And as Hollywood fights for less toxic work environments, more people are calling on DeGeneres to get it together – and get off the air.
Seriously, if a rule is “Don’t look Ellen in the eyes” then something is not right. So should The Ellen Show be cancelled? Yes. If Ellen can’t make the lasting changes between her onscreen and behind the scenes actions, then it should end.
Granted, Hollywood is a superficial industry. No one expects anyone — least of all Ellen DeGeneres — to be happy all the time. But when you’re known for being miserable all the time, that’s a problem.
She’s Not Canceled Yet – But It’s Been a Long Time Coming
Ellen DeGeneres’ fans will argue that she’s actually more relevant than ever before because of the EDN (Ellen Digital Network).
Never mind that it’s a cheap OWN rip-off. Never mind that it’s been around for a while and has had no success. According to DeGeneres’ fans, EDN’s mere existence proves Ellen is totes the best, y’all.
But they still can’t seem to explain how DeGeneres is so miserable that she (allegedly) almost got someone fired for having a less-than-perfect manicure.
And they also can’t seem to explain why Ellen preaches being kind, but isn’t actually kind herself… and how that doesn’t make her a hypocrite.
Face it, folks: Hollywood may have had enough of Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen’s production company denies those rumors, but the gossip didn’t start itself.
And good riddance. Her cancellation – whenever it finally arrives – is long overdue.
